Mindful Running in Amsterdam
Running combined with mindfulness. A contradiction as running means speeding and mindfulness means slowing down. How to do that?
We start with meditation and then we run calmly to the Vondelpark where stretching exercises are done from mindfulness, yoga and chi running. Then follows a core that is suitable for everyone, the schedule might be adjusted for you. Then we return to the WG-plein, where we finish with mindfulness exercises and body scan to integrate everything.
It is possible each week to decide if you want to participate. One session costs € 5,-.
Mindful Running is given by Dolores of Enkhuijzen, an experienced runner since 1998 and also Mindfulness Trainer.
Mindful Running takes place on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every week from November 1, 2011 in the Vondelpark from WG-plein 44 (we may stay in and practise mindfulness exercises because of the weather)
Come a little earlier if you want to change clothes. You cab leave your belonings inside.
Please wear proper running shoes.
