THE FIRST DEGREEThis degree consists out of four initiations, spread out over 2 day's. Through the use of initiations, you are tuned in to the Reiki energy, so that you can receive and pass on the energy without any limitations. Before the initiations commence, you'll be explained what Reiki is and where it comes from. After the first initiation you can already feel the energy flowing from your hands. And with each next initiation you'll feel the flow increasing. You'll learn the hand positions through which you can pass on the energy to people, animals, plants and especially yourself. Everyone who has received the initiations can apply it to himself and others instantly. THE SECOND DEGREEIn the second degree of Reiki you receive one initiation. This initiation tunes the body in to the powerful energy which is summoned by the symbols. The course includes study material and a certificate. THE THIRD DEGREEEach degree is a step further on the road of personal development. The first degree works on the physical plain and the second degree on the psycho-emotional plain while the third degree works on the plain of spiritual growth. The “master symbol” consciously connects you to the source, the light, god, goddess or whatever you would like to call it. Before receiving the third degree one must have been working with the other degrees for some time and gone through the physical and emotional changes they bring along. With this initiation the strength of your energy is drastically increased and the “third” eye which perceives the spiritual aspects of life is opened. With the third degree the Reiki system is completed. THE FOURTH DEGREEThe fourth degree complements the third degree with instructional skills. The fourth degree course teaches you how to initiate others in the preceding degrees. So the fourth degree is only of importance to those who intend to pass the Reiki on to others. Not everybody has the call to become a Reiki instructor and it also requires more the mere knowledge of the initiation process. At the institute you are given the possibility to grow towards your mastership. An important aspect is the taking part in a couple of Reiki courses, were in time you’ll be taking over more and more of the tasks. first degree

Reiki is an old Japanese healing method which has become incredibly popular. It spawns from the Buddhist qigong and Shintoism, and was rediscovered in the late 19th century by Mikao Usui from Kyoto. He called it Reiki. Reiki is generally translated as "universal life-force". The Reiki system past down by Usui consists out of four degree's. Reiki is a simple and effective healing method, which is performed through the laying on of hands. A person, who is initiated as a Reiki healer, has had his energy channels attuned and cleared from blockades in the Reiki initiation. This person does not only receive an increase of energy for their personal healing, but is also connected to the source of al universal life energy. By receiving the first initiation you become a channel for this universal healing energy. From this moment on, all you have to do is lay your hands on yourself or others were it is needed, and the energy will flow automatically.
